Why does the Tenth Heaven have no traditional name? Unlike heavens 1–9 (Shamayim, Raquia, Paradise, Muzaloth, Kuchavim, etc.), the tenth has no universally agreed Hebrew or traditional name in the sources. It is often called “the heaven of heavens” (Deut 10:14; 1 Kgs 8:27) — a descriptor rather than a proper name.
