Tradition

Fire-breathing giant who lived in a cave on the Aventine and stole Heracles' cattle, dragging them backwards to hide their tracks. Strangled by Heracles. His story is Rome's own foundation-era giant.

Named in Greek, Roman, Norse, Islamic, Celtic and Asian tradition. Recorded as tradition, not asserted as history.
