The seasons-and-signs function of the Eighth Heaven: timekeeping given to the lights of the firmament, as distinct from divination.

What the phrase covers

Muzaloth is described as the changer of the seasons. “Cosmic scheduling” is this app’s label for that function: the ordering of solstice and equinox, the calendar, the agricultural year, the festival cycle — the sky used as a clock. Genesis 1:14 is the warrant, giving the lights “for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years”.

The line scripture actually draws

Scripture does not treat sky-as-clock and sky-as-oracle the same way. Timekeeping is instituted in Genesis 1:14 and assumed throughout. Seeking guidance or worship from the stars is forbidden — Deuteronomy 4:19, 2 Kings 23:5, Isaiah 47:13, Jeremiah 10:2. The distinction between these two is the single most important thing on any zodiac page in this app, and it is why cosmic scheduling is filed as a realm function rather than as a practice.

On the angel count

The value shown is the number of angels currently seeded to the zodiacal heavens. It is the same figure as the Angels & Associated Realms row because it measures the same thing. A zero is a gap in the seed data, stated rather than hidden.
