One of 7 races of giants catalogued here — a race or lineage, not a named individual. Named individuals are on Named Giants. The Watchers named as their fathers are under Fallen Angels and Grigori / Watchers.
The -im is the ordinary Hebrew masculine plural, the same ending as on Seraphim and Cherubim. Why these seven share it, and how Deuteronomy 2 sorts the post-Flood names, is on Races of Giants.
Hebrew gibborim (גִּבּוֹרִים), plural of gibbor, “mighty one, hero, warrior.” In Genesis 6:4 it is not a second race beside the Nephilim. It is what that verse calls them: the mighty men of old, men of renown.
The noun is ordinary Hebrew for a champion, and it outlives that generation. Nimrod “began to be a mighty one in the earth” (Genesis 10:8–9), and he is in the line of Cush, a human line. David’s champions are the gibborim (2 Samuel 23). This catalog files the word with the hybrid generation because that is where Genesis first puts it on them. It is a title. By itself it is not a separate bloodline.
