All Angels

All angels in one list. Default order is oldest first (by record); use Sort by to order by name, choir, heaven, or role.

The count here is named angels in this database—those documented from sources (1 Enoch, 2 Enoch, Revelation, Orthodox/Islamic/Jewish tradition, etc.). Human traditions speak of many more angels than are named: countless host, "angels of the presence," seven spirits, and roles like "Angel of the Abyss" or "Guardian of Hell" that may appear with or without a proper name. You can add unnamed angels with titles or roles by entering them with the title or a label (e.g. "Angel of the Seven Thunders") as the name and filling Role, Choir, and Sources so they appear in the list and can be linked from heavens or realms.
