Tradition

Giant of Najera in the Pseudo-Turpin Chronicle, invulnerable except at the navel, who debates theology with Roland before their duel. One of the most-copied giant narratives of the Middle Ages.

Named in Greek, Roman, Norse, Islamic, Celtic and Asian tradition. Recorded as tradition, not asserted as history.
