Tradition

A hero of ordinary stature in the medieval Fenian Cycle who becomes a giant in later oral tradition, credited with building the Giant's Causeway to reach Scotland. A documented case of a legendary figure growing into a giant over centuries of retelling.

Named in Greek, Roman, Norse, Islamic, Celtic and Asian tradition. Recorded as tradition, not asserted as history.
