Brother of Ohyah and son of Shemihazah. His dream of a great tree with all but three of its roots torn out is interpreted as the destruction of the giants in the Flood, with only Noah's line surviving.
Named in the Dead Sea Scrolls (notably the Book of Giants), 1 Enoch, Jubilees and related non-canonical literature.
